I've lived in many places in my life: Reykjavik, Nice, Washington DC, Tehran, Berkeley, Warsaw, Providence, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Taos and Seattle. I've done many things, but I've always painted portraits. People say "Ditto, you should paint OTHER things besides portraits!" And I CAN and do, but faces are continually interesting to me. Also, painting portraits has enabled me to work directly with clients, circumventing the gallery world. I also have an architectural color design business.
